What we use and why
Necessary. One cookie remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner, so that we do not ask you again on every page. It holds only a random number, nothing about you. We need no consent for it; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in the site working as you set it.
Statistics. Google Analytics shows us where visitors come from and which parts of the site they read. Its cookies are stored only after you allow statistics in the banner, and until then the site sends nothing to Google. The legal basis is your consent. Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited; data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
We have no advertising cookies, no advertising pixel and no social media widget. Apart from cookies, we count visits ourselves without any cookies and without storing your IP address; this is described in our privacy policy.
